I have a Plex Cloud Beta setup with a Google Drive account that has around 20 TB of data. Some of it has movies, music and so on . I added a new library of Movies and every time I am trying to load folders on the " Add folders" tab I get the following error :
“Plex Cloud took too long finding folders. Please Try again”
Plex is not the issue. I have had an issue like this but it was google drive. Can you open up chrome and go to your drive and look for the related media? (If your Drive hangs when loading this is something you may have to take up with google drive support)
Thank you for the response. I will give them a call but the folder in questions does load successfully. It has around 1000 movies in it and they play just fine. Aside from this. What folder structure did you follow on Google Drive so It can load succesfully? I am not sure if name of the folder affects how Plex Cloud is able to find it.
If you can recreate the error then get me the PMS logs, we can take a look. You can also try reauthorizing Google Drive.
I am having a similar is, I also renamed and moved a media file but plex seems to be picking up the old name in drive when I look at the Get Info. Is there a way to get plex cloud to pull a fresh list of files and folders from drive?
