From Plex Web, go to the troublseshooting tab. There is a download database button. Use that, it will generate a zip file. Send me that.
Cheers, have sent you a PM.
Hi team,
Any updates on this?
Looks like it was fixed a few days ago, I canāt promise it will be in very next release but should be soon.
That is awesome! Thanks for the update!
Hi guys, just updated to the latest BETA which was supposed to have the issue fixed but itās still happening.
PMS version: Version 1.25.7.5604
Happy to share my library database if needed.
Hello, Would you share your db and send me a debug log with some ordering requests? Whatās the issue and how to repro? If you can also make a screen recording that will be the best.
PM sent.
Hi team, thanks for looking into this. Itās still happening to me. Using Windows, no other tabs open. Once I set the custom order, sometimes it works a couple of times, then resets to old sort, sometimes it doesnāt work at all, as soon as Iām finished, itāll reset.
Iām going to give it another go now!

Hi,
This issue still seems to exist. I am ordering a music collection with 15 tracks in them and the order does not save.
I am running plex on Ubuntu: Version 1.30.2.6563, and have tried updating the order on both Plex for Windows: Version 1.62.2.3451-fb8ac0ae, and Plex Web: Version 4.87.2.
Hello,
I am currently having this same problem. When I edit a Collection, I go into āAdvancedā, then beside the āCollection Orderā option, I choose āCustomā. I then save the setting and attempt to change the collection order. (For example, I want my Star Wars movie collection to be ordered from Episode I to Episode XI, rather than release date or alphabetical.) When I move my mouse over the films in the collection, I can see the āthree linesā in the top-middle of the icon, which I understand is how I should drag and drop the film into itās new order. However, this does not happen. While it seems I can click the item to prepare it for dragging, I canāt actually drag the film to a new position. Nothing happens. No error. No reordering. Nothing. (It āfeelsā like only a click is registered, rather than a click-and-hold, when trying to drag the film to into a new order.)
Any idea what is going on here? I canāt get this to work through my Roku (latest version), through Chrome or Firefox (latest versions), or from the Windows desktop app (Version 1.89.1.107-20abacd1). I am currently running the Windows Plex server (Version 1.40.1.8227) This problem started on the previous version I was running, which would have been the version previous to the version Iām currently on. (I ran the update hoping this issue would resolve, but it hasnāt.)
Any support which can be offered would be greatly appreciated!
Are you using the local web app at ServerIP:32400/web which is version 4.125.1. As mentioned above 4.126.1 at app.plex.tv is the one that is broken.
Still seeing this over a year later, albeit on a Synology server.
