Just installed plex server and have ripped several movies without issue. Just started ripping the 5 seasons of the office. Season 1 is complete and I am able to play the files from the computer. I scanned the library, refreshed metadata… But only episodes 10 - 18 are showing up. episodes 1-9 aren’t showing in plex??
There are 9 seasons, which season are you having trouble with?
It sounds like you’re having trouble with season 1 but that only has 6 episodes
Does the DVD your ripping from follow the same order as the TVDB or TMDB?

Ok, found a lot of duplicates… eliminated them but it is showing them as episodes 10 - 16 and season 2 isn’t even showing up…
All of these types of problems generally come down to naming.
There are a few issues with this show that can be a little tricky
First you have to make sure it’s not mistaking any of the episodes for the UK version

You might be seeing duplicates because for some seasons there are a lot of part 1 and part 2 episodes
For season 4 you can see the normal TVDB order vs. having those episodes combined below. You have to adjust your naming according to how your files are configured

To make things easier I would recommend using a renaming program like this
This makes it much easier to compare the files you have to the order the TVDB has and you can arrange them accordingly
If you use this program you have to switch your show order to the TVDB in the library advanced settings

Standard, Season-Based Shows
Most television shows have episodes organized into seasons. To name season-based shows create files with the season and episode notation sXXeXX:
- /TV Shows/ShowName/Season 02/ShowName – s02e17 – Optional_Info.ext
This is only an example. The most important bit in the file name is the appropriate season and episode number notation s02e17 which in this example means Season 2 Episode 17 It does not matter if you use dashes, dots or just spaces.
