If I install Plex Connect, am I still able to see movies, tv shows and series that I rent from Apple TV? I have a large collection on my NAS and want to access this via Plex. However, I also want to access some of the Apple stuff for my son, which I do not have on my NAS such as Bob the Builder, and other childrens TV shows and movies.
thus, can I get both on the same device?
Yes, if you hijack wsj or iMovie you can still use the trailers app as well.

I do not have Apple TV yet but will go buy it today. Never needed it because i have a Samsung which has the Plex client built into the TV but I want the other features Apple TV can provide. Do you have a reference on how to hack iMovie to be able to access the apple media content from apple stores?
I only know of being able to hijack iMovie to use it for plex content via plexconnect. Personally I would wait apple may drop a atv4 on sept 9 during the WWDC. I’m pretty sure apple has their media content locked down pretty well.
