Plex Connect over the Internet

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction so I can get this working.

 

I have PlexConnect working at home and it works fantastic. I want to get it working at my Mom's house and have it connect to my PlexConnect server here at my house.

 

Where do I start?


I have dyndns set up for both her house and mine (been that way for a while, it wasn't for this).

 

I was envisioning that I could set the DNS to my ip address across the WAN (it hardly ever changes). I could then open ports up on my router and forward it to the PlexConnect machine.

 

Which ports should I be using? Does PlexConnect run on 80 by default? I guess I could make it anything and just change it in the cfg file.

 

Am I on the right track? Has anyone tried this?

Yeah, you could change IP/Port. But then aTV would have no chance to reach it...
How about waiting for MyPlex support?

Sounds like I need to wait.. :-)

I guess for now I'll just use it on her iPad and have her use AirPlay to play it on the ATV.
