Plex crashes after update

Server Version#: Version 1.32.0.6918
Player Version#:
<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>

Hi
I am running Plex Media Server on Windows 2022 with DrivePool.
Plex crashes after updating.
I downloaded PlexMediaServer-1.32.1.6999-91e1e2e2c-x86_64.exe ran the install and completed succesfully.
After installation, I open Plex Media Server and a white box briefly flashes and Plex does not start.
Please advise on what could cause this and how to resolve it?

Its alos stuck on Cheking for updates:

Thanks

start up issues are normally due to issues like this

  • database corrupt
  • tcp ports 32400 and 32401 in use by other applications
  • path in LocalAppDataPath in server settings in the registry is invalid

Locate the server logs - by default they would be written to
%LocalAppData%\Plex Media Server\Logs

copy out the Logs folder and zip and attach here

"I have the same problem. I updated to the latest version today on Windows system. Here is my log."I can’t upload the log, the volume exceeds 8m. I confirm that it is the third reason you mentioned, how can I solve it

Regedit
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Plex, Inc.\Plex Media Server

and edit the value stored for LocalAppDataPath

Deleting the LocalAppDataPath would result in default path used
%LocalAppData%\Plex Media Server

You will need to upload externally and share a link
eg google drive / dropbox etc
