Plex crashes/disappears from Taskbar when I go to Live TV

Server Version#:1.18.2.2058
While using the Plex app on my Nvidia Shield Pro, as soon as I try to access Live TV and DVR, the PMS app closes out of the taskbar on my Windows 7 PC where all my media is stored. I am able to access and play the other media files that are stored on my PC, but as soon as I scroll to Live TV, it instantly crashes the PMS and I lose all connection. This behavior just started a couple days ago after having Plex working fine for the last month or so. I have searched for all the suspect DLLs without finding any on my PC. I thought maybe it was an Antivirus or Malware scanner doing it, but I have disabled Malwarebytes and Webroot without an improvement. I am able to use Plex from that PC without crashing the server, but not my other device. Any ideas would be appreciated.

This has happened to several users, including myself. Deleting and re-adding your DVR should correct the issue (if it’s the same as what we experienced):

@ChuckPa may be interested in logs and crash reports, if you have them available.

I have exactly the same issue. Working fine earlier today, now crashes when trying to connect from FIRETV… PMS ver 1.18.2.2058-e67a4e892.

Working with Engineering, we found and corrected that issue last night.
Today has been spent in QA.
We’re trying to get it completed (properly) and released asap.
It was hoped today but we ran out of time.
I expect it to release tomorrow as the new Plex Pass release.

That’s great news! Thanks for the quick action Chuck

Deleting my DVR and adding it back end seems to have solved my problem for now. Thanks for the help.

No problem, glad it worked for you. Also, the formal fix has been released as PMS version 1.18.3.2129.
