Plex server crashes trying to view live tv

macOS Version#: High Sierra 10.13.6

Second day of using Plex, and it’s not been a great experience so far. Today, EVERY single time I launch the FireTV app on my Toshiba FireTV or iOS devices, and merely scroll to Live TV & DVR, the server instantly crashes. EVERY single time. No problems with using the web app on any other devices to watch live TV.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, I guess I’ll be cancelling my Plex pass and going back to using Channels for my live TV/DVR.

What tuner are you using?

I should have included that info…

HDHomeRun Prime 3-tuner, firmware up to date with 20190621.

What’s strange is that the FireTV app worked yesterday.

Thanks for the info! That seems to have solved the issue. I wish I hadn’t deleted my DVR and started over again, but at least the server isn’t crashing. :slight_smile:
