Plex crashes every day

Hello. I observe crashing PMS on XigmaNAS (FreeBSD 11.4) for last few month’s. I know there re a lot of similar posts, but I collect some details, please review.

Server Version#: From 1.21.2.x to 1.21.3.4015

Fact 1: PMS crashes mostly at night (maintenance 2:00-5:00), but there was crashes during playback
Fact 2: PMS crashes with different working clients or without connections.
Fact 3: PMS crashes with message “kernel: pid 23233 (Plex Media Server), jid 0, uid 972: exited on signal 10” in system logs
Fact 4: PMS crashes with sufficient amount of RAM/SWAP

I did’t find errors in logs after crash, but attached one of them.
Plex Media Server.log (8.5 MB)

You got any remote software running such as Team Viewer or VNC? I only ask as there seems to be a new ish bug relating to that type of software running on PMS servers.

No, I use SSH only

Just FYI, signal 10 in freebsd is bus error, it could be hardware related, possibly bad memory.
Doesnt mean it is though, but perhaps still worth it to do a memtest.

Not for me, I use ECC memory. Database is used on SSD without SMART errors.

I’ve discovered that “Refresh local metadata every three days” crashed PMS most time

News. I’ve updated FreeBSD to 12.2 and crashes on signal 10/11 are not actual. But sometimes PMS crashes because of swap leak (Size 2 Gb).

kernel: pid 22341 (Plex Script Host), jid 0, uid 972, was killed: out of swap space
