Player Version#: 6.7.24.7009 (I think, I don’t know where exactly to see the Plex app version on Roku)
At least once a day, while watching a show on Plex on my Roku Streaming Stick+, the device will crash and reboot completely. If I’m really lucky, it’ll do it twice in one 45 minute show. I’m fairly certain it’s a Plex issue because this never happens when I use the YouTube app on my Roku. That being said, I have 2 Roku Expresses and a Roku Premiere none of which have had this problem. It’s a 3810X Streaming Stick with version 10.0.0 - build 4195-50, if that’s at all helpful.
Here’s exactly what will happen: the show will be playing no problem, but suddenly the sound will stop. The video will continue for 3 to 4 seconds, then will stop frozen. The remote is completely unresponsive during this time. It’ll sit frozen for 3 to 4 seconds, before the screen goes black and the Roku boot screen comes on. I’ll go back into Plex and start the show again to find it thinks I left off 30 seconds back from where the crash happened. Has anybody else had this happen?
