Plex crashes when I select a specific artist..very strange

I have my music libraries divided into sections, for example, Jazz, males, females, groups, etc, it helps me to keep all my music organized by genre and gender. Today, using my apple tv, I tried to listen to music of a specific artist in the female section, and Plex crashes every single time I hit the artist’s picture to enter her library, it goes back to the apple app menu and when I get back into the plex app, it refreshes every time and the same thing happens again and again. I can’t access the artist’s music. I can repeat this procedure a dozen times and a dozen times plex crashes and takes me back to the apple tv app menu, but only with that specific artist. I haven’t changed a thing and everything else works fine, including watching movies or listening to everything else.

it feels as if this particular artist’s picture acts as a command to exit plex.

Does this happen in the Plex web app as well (or in other Plex apps)?

it only happens with the apple app. I have disconnected the apple TV a couple of times, but the problem is still there.

Could you please get server logs and logs from the Apple TV (if possible) while reproducing the crash?
The developers always like logs, so they can diagnose issues in detail.

Hi. I have the same issue. FreeBSD 12, PMS 1.23.4.4712, last tvOS app. Logs are included.

Also, I see some regularity. In my case app crashes on artists with manually uploaded posters.

I went ahead and did as you suggested, I changed the manually uploaded pictures, but nothing changed. I just gave up at his point.

Still no update? I posted about this too and nothing. Same exact issue.

As I know, there is no way to delete posters. So, if some picture was added manually, the artists become bugged regardless of primary/selected poster. Is that what you mean?

Only workaround I can come up with is to perform the Plex dance with absolutely all albums which are listed under the artist name at once.
