Hello, I’m using Plex Server on Nvidia Shield Pro 2019.
I can add my movies and TV shows properly, but the credit markers are not being detected. I’ve tried deleting and recreating the libraries multiple times. Additionally, I’ve reinstalled the server several times, ensuring it’s up to date and even tried the beta version (currently on beta), but still, no credit markers are being found. I’ve attempted to analyze the movies individually, but no credit markers are detected. While most of the movies and TV shows I’ve added have chapters named “credits,” the credit markers are still not being identified. Interestingly, intros are detected for TV shows, and the “skip intro” feature works fine.
Your credit markers are from what source? Local detection usually fails on Nvidia Shield.
System isn’t powerful enough to do a good job, I usually just depend on the the cloud setting as below
Well, keep it on online and observe for a few maintenance cycles. Then check XML file information to see if any file information is updated with markers. If your collection is unique i.e. not typical viewing them maybe it can’t exactly be crowd sourced i.e. can’t be found on the cloud. If there is anything unique about the media files, then that could also be a factor since unique files won’t be able to be crowd sourced either. I have a few of those as myself and they can’t be marked via the cloud.
For testing purposes, I’m currently only analyzing the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies (4k remux), and I believe these are not unique. I chose them specifically for this purpose because they are definitely in the cloud.
