I am using Plex Desktop 1.79.1 on an Ubuntu Desktop and whenever I press the Next, Previous or Play/Pause media keys on my keyboard, it does not work. It shows me a toast with a “circle-backslash” sign. This has been the case for years, ever since I started using the player.
The same feature works in Windows and on my Mac. It has been nothing but annoying to always go for a pointer device to do anything. The reason I like linux is that everything can be done on keyboard, and this completely ruins that experience. If this is a bug, I will move this topic, but if it is a pending feature I request you to please implement it.
