I am trying to install Plex desktop for Mac but it only install in MAC OS version 10.13 or superior. My MAC has OS version 10.11.6 and can’t be updated. What I should do to use plex media server after Jan 20 when Web Version will be discontinued?

The web version is not going anywhere (the web version is accessed through https://app.plex.tv.desktop or your local PMS url).

Plex wanted to discontinue the Plex Media Player software that is primarily for HTPC setups. However, they have since back-pedaled that decision and will continue to maintain it for the foreseeable future.
