Plex Media Player No longer Working on Mac OS

Plex Media Player app does not run. OS reports “The software needs to be updated. Contact the developer.”

I changed over to Plex for Mac a while back, so not using Plex Media Player (PMP) anymore.

Given PMP hasn’t been updated since May 2020 this might be a sign of things to come for this version of the client.
