Tried the new interface on my Roku and while it’s better than that last abomination, I don’t see a reason for its’ existence. I mean, I know you had to fix the UI because of the massive amount of flak you got from the previous version but compared to the CURRENT Apple TV interface, you’re just moving the categories from across the top to the left side. And the amount of real estate that the left shortcut bar eats up is insane.
The current Apple TV UI still stands out as pure perfection.
But again, ever since you decided to re-invent the wheel, what problem are you trying to solve?
Guess it’s just part of the vulture capitalist firm that owns you, wanting a new UI that drives people to YOUR content vs. what they stream from friends.
