Sorry for my English, I’m not a native speaker.
I have downloaded Plex Media Server on Win10 but when trying to install it I couldn’t because even though the service started off, I cannot access to the web starting page.
So after a long time I decided to use a VM with Xubuntu and everything went fine. I’ve got a virtualized new partition with all my movies inside. I changed permissions of the main folder and am able to watch stuff through my smart TV.
My problem comes when I am using Plex client for over half an hour. It suddenly disconnects and I must reconnect from the web configuration.
UWF is not working at the guest machine and I’ve an entry rule on Windows Defender from my main machine, allowing traffic on port 32400.
I have also looked for a post on this topic: Remote Access no longer working since last update.
So I think it’s kind of problem with Plex udpates, but I am not sure about it.
