Hello… I just updated to Plex Media Server 1.24.4.5081 earlier today and I’ve been having remote access issues. When I first launch the server, I would be fully accessible outside my network, but shortly after it will disconnect and show not available outside my network. When I hit retry it will connect for the meantime and then shortly afterwards it will disconnect again.
I also have the proper ports open. This only started happening after the update. Is anyone else running into this problem? Any solutions as well?
I’ve run into this problem since updating around 9/30. I’ve uninstalled and rolled back to an earlier version, which didn’t help. I’ve uninstalled and re-installed Windows 10 (twice) which didn’t help. I’ve redone the port forwarding on my router, which didn’t help.
I’m also plagued by this issue. I have tried different ports, reset multiple network devices and reinstalled PMS. Nothing seems to fix the issue. The remote access just seems to drop every 10 - 20 minutes.
Similar thing is happening to me also. [Although I’m not sure how long,] before, it was seemingly just the indicator, since I was able to still remotely connect from outside my own local network and play my content. But now it seems to completely disconnect from the network until I “RETRY” my manual port setting, then the server reconnects, allowing me to access my content remotely again for a short period of time.
