I have just downloaded the Plex HTPC to try. I am attempting to get the “Discover” feature to actually work. I have never actually seen this feature work in the real world. So, I’m on Windows 11, 64bit. As far as I can tell from the very, very limited references I can find on the Plex site. Windows 11 (desktop) should be supported. But, alas when I run the HTPC application and try to use it it says that it isn’t supported. Is there anywhere that this feature actually works?

What specific aspect are you missing or what exact error message do you get to see (e.g. what are you trying to do when you get this error message) – mind sharing a screenshot?
It’s not so much an error as it says “it’s unavailable..” but no idea why. As I said as far as I can tell it should work. I downloaded the desktop HTPC for windows…
The support article mentions this:
App Support for Discover
- …
- Plex HTPC *
- …
* These apps cannot directly open or link out to another streaming service app and will instead try to search for the app on device or display in the app.
So while you can use Discover to see where something’s available, you can’t directly navigate to the other sources.
