Other question. Let’s say my movies are local and TV shows on a different Plex Server. Is it possible to watch them on the same device with one Plex app?
It is! You will probably want to “Pin” the TV and Movie sources from each in the sidebar, this will also ensure they appear on the Dashboard and at the top of searches

Exactly and the external connection doesn’t work at all. Power was out and now it doesn’t get a connection anymore. Also emby does not work on an web browser as good as Plex and the picture quality in Videos isn’t that good or is it just me?
It handled music pretty well, aside from treating m3us as playlists which is a strange choice, but as you say left a bit to be desired in the actual playing of videos. It is not a bad piece of software and does some things quite well, but ultimately didn’t meet my expectations or give anything substantially better than Plex that would make me pack up and move.
Plexamp was the gamechanger for me though, and with the latest round of funding Plex just received feel pretty good this place is here for the long-haul.
Picture quality solely depends on your source material and if you transcode.
I don’t transcode. But the same video looked better on the VLC player than on emby with Nvidia shield
That is weird and should not happen.
Maybe it can’t upscale on emby.
I tried filebot with an anime Show. It only the name and the number 4 in it and a lot of other letters and pluses and so on. It found the correct episode name and season. Plex will find the correct movies and TV shows when I remame it with filebot I guess?

We can’t even begin to diagnose your problem without you getting the basics right.
Right now it looks like your file naming is the issue
Take the time to set up FileBot so it renames your files per Plex convention. Life will get much easier.

I will start with that today. Do I have do delete the library first on Plex?
If you are renaming plex files you really should do the Plex dance. I am at work right now, look it up, easy to find.
Can’t hurt. Rename your files properly and then create a new library, set it to german and don’t mess with the agents or scanners.
Adjust preview thumbnails creation as needed.
I deleted all txt and pictures files on the HDD.
I use filebot one year licence. Lets see how that is.
