Plex does not let iPad sleep when not p;laying

I am not talking about when playing, if I leave the home screen, episode screen, etc. the screen will dim after the allotted time then brighten right back up again, not letting the iPad go sleep and lock the screen.

Placing the app in the background allows the iPad to sleep.

Is it possible to get the app logs after it does this. iOS Logs | Plex Support

Just opened app, left it on Home Screen, iPad did not go to sleep Waited 5 min then made log.
