Plex does not see 3 different series directories

I have 3 seasons of “American Crime Story” saved in separate/independent directories on HDD like this:

American Crime Story - Impeachment
American Crime Story - The Assassination of Gianni Versace
American Crime Story - The People v. O.J. Simpson

Plex library only shows “Impeachment” but inside it has the “The People v. O.J. Simpson” files. No matter what I do with these directories they will not show up as 3 different series or seasons.
Can someone please help me?

Plex Documentation → Your Media → Naming & Organizing Your TV Show Files.

  • Organize them as separate seasons of the same TV show, as listed on TMDB and TVDB.
  • Configure Plex to display season titles.

Example:

/TV Shows  <-- folder added to TV show library
  /American Crime Story (2016) <-- ShowName (intro year)
    /Season 01 <-- "Season" in English, two digits for number
      /American Crime Story (2016) s01e01 From the Ashes of Tragedy.ext <-- sXXeYY required.
    /Season 02
      /American Crime Story (2016) s02e01 The Man Who Would Be Vogue.ext <-- ext = mkv/mp4/etc

To display season titles

  1. Edit the Library
  2. Choose Advanced
  3. Enable Use season titles
  4. Save Changes
  5. Refresh Metadata

The problem was that Plex server was looking at a backup disk instead of the latest working copy (even though I had renamed it) but thanx to refreshing the HDD / directory structure as you suggested I was able to see the problem.
