PLEX downloaded a wrong biography

Following the addition of some (FLAC) media files (Beethoven Symphonie 1 & 2) PLEX downloaded a biography of Ludwig von Beethoven with an incorrect description (of Emil Gilels) like so :

He was a master of a wide repertory from the time of Bach to his own era, and one of the first pianists to adopt a modern, more objective style of playing and interpreting music. No idea how to find out where PLEX did download this. Can I see this in some log file ?

Yeah, a couple of us noticed this a few weeks ago and notified the developers. In my case, I found ten composers in my library that had wrong biographies (out of 57 or so). They’re looking into it, but I haven’t heard about any progress.

Got a note. Looks like they have a handle on the problem. Should make it into a build in the near future.

This should be corrected in Server ver. 1.18.5.2260. If you do a Refresh Metadata on the artist, it should grab the right bio now.
