I have a Fire TV which works great with Plex DVR. I just setup a Roku Ultra and it appears that the roku is still not capable of setting up a recording. It just shows programs to “watch now” and nothing else. No “up coming programs” or “what’s on tonight” ,etc. Is this true or am I doing something wrong. I read something about it being in Beta, whatever that means. 
i posted the EXACT same thing last month. This is indeed the case (I guess full EPG is coming soon). I returned the Roku and got ShieldTV

I assume there is a plan to add the ability to record through the Roku app, is that correct? Any idea on when this might be available?
