I am a new Plex DVR user, running on a Laptop PC, Intel I5-4200 CPU, 6 gig Ram. My question: Is there a way to view thumbnails when fast forwarding a recorded TV show to make it easier to select play position?
Any help is appreciated.
Do you have Preview thumb generation enabled on the library you save the recordings to and in the servers scheduled task settings?
Thanks for responding. Under the Recorded TV Library, I have the “Enable Video Preview” checked and under Server Settings for Library it was not. I will check that and see if it makes a difference. Is there anything else I need to check? Thanks again.
That should be it. Existing things will start processing during scheduled tasks.
