I have an issue I simply cannot figure out. I have my DVR set up to record Saturday Night Live (both new & repeat shows).
This past Saturday it recorded Season 46 Episode 1. The record date & time along with the thumbnail are all correct. However when I play the show, it it a previously recorded “vintage” SNL. In addition the DVR has organized the season 46 show with older shows from season 45. Finally it also is listing an season 46 episode 2 show. Episode 2 won’t air until Saturday. This show is also another vintage show.
I tried the fix match feature, but that did nothing to change the problem.
I am not noticing this on any other show. Any insight/help would be greatly appreciated.
Update: The shows in issue are not being named correctly. I found 2 folders among the “Season ##” folders. 1 call 2019 and one called 2020. In each of those folders the shows do not adhere to the normal Plex naming standard. For example the most recent show from 10/3/2020 was saved as Saturday Night Live (1975) - 2020-10-03 22 00 00 - Saturday Night Live.ts instead of Saturday Night Live (1975) - S##E## - Host Name;Musical Guest.ts
