Every time I go to the DVR Guide and select movies, the application crashes and tells me to come here to the forums. No other information is provided. Does anyone know why it crashes when trying to display the “movies” guide? shows, etc. work fine. It is just the movies guide that crashes the software.

Did everyone upgrade to the newest release, i.e did the newest release break the guide?
Although I can’t explicitly confirm, it did seem closely coincident with the most recent update I performed. Good point.
My problem just went away when I refreshed the guide.
Is the refresh-fix stable for you? That worked for me, briefly, once, and not at all the second time.
I also did a refresh and it seems to now be working. Not sure if stable yet but has been ok for the last two times I used it.
Actually, it hasn’t been stable for me either. Movie guide failed for me one day and then worked the next. Do the developers read this thread or where should we post bug info?
I’m running version 1.14.1.5488 and I’m seeing the same… crashes often trying to view Movies, or TV shows. Sometimes it will let me scroll for a bit and then crash. Though at the moment it’s constantly failing to show any movies, TV shows are fine.
Some times it works from inside the clients (IOS or Mac), though those seem to scroll back to the top while your scrolling down!

hey, i may have found it. I think it’s a browser issue. someone else on this forum (or somewhere) mentioned a fix of restarting their browser (chrome). Worked for me too.
Not sure why, but I don’t really care. I’ll just keep restarting the browser when I run into the issue.
I had the same issue and restarting the browser worked. I do not know if it makes any differences but I also had another tab with plex loaded in another window that I had forgotten about.
Same issue. One work around is to log off the web interface and restart it. I was then able to view the movie view.
