Plex DVR won't delete

Hello!
I’m having issues with my Plex DVR, I purchased and set up a HDHomeRun a month or so ago and everything worked perfectly until this last week. When I go to the Live TV & DVR tab it is stuck refreshing guide data at 0% and says there was an error loading channels.

In my troubleshooting I thought maybe I could just delete the DVR and re-add it, when I tried to delete it I got a message the DVR couldn’t be removed and now when I got to Live TV & DVR in the settings it says Unable to load DVR’s.

Is there a way to completely reset the DVR functionality so I can start over from scratch?

I was having similar issues. In fact I couldn’t watch TV at all. A fix for me was to restart the Plex Media Server. Go into your ‘settings’ --> ‘Live TV and DVR’ and then delete your DVR.

Now right next to Libraries, click the … symbol.

  • Clean Bundles
  • Empty Trash

Restart the Plex Media Server.
Add your DVR back now and see if it works.
