Why can we not edit channel numbers? I have 2 cards, one DVB-S2 and one DVB-T2, both offer some same channels, so if one is used for recording ITV, why cannot another be set to stream live? Why can I not set the channel numbers? I would like the channel numbers set locally and to choose the best tuner available.
PLEX DVR is awful, the listing miss a LOT of channels, can I link it to TVHeadend? That at least works.
Yes, you can use tvHeadend… you’ll need to use tvhProxy to bridge PMS and tvHeadend.
As far as editing channel numbers… PMS is designed to make the connections between what your tuner reports and whatever EPG source you’ve configured (either Plex’s, or an XMLTV source.) Are your DVB tuners not reporting the right channels? Only tic’ the strong channels on each tuner.
Edit: one of PMS’ foibles is that I think you need to use a common EPG across all of your tuners. I only have one, albeit with the ability to stream 5 different channels.
