Hi all, I’m running the plex media server on an old Windows 10 machine plugged into my audio video receiver. 4k movies are always buffering. but when I play these same movies on kodi or media player classic, its silky smooth. so I installed the Plex Media player and when I use that, the video is very choppy. The movie files are .mkv files stored on my NAS. I don’t think its either the PC or the nas because the same movies play fine on kodi or MPC. Why is this happening? what settings in plex could be causing this? and does plex do something that kodi and MPC don’t do, that’s causing the problem?
