I have installed Plex on my new xbox one. Plex server is installed on my Synology DS214Play. Both connected via kabel. When i play a movie (mkv, avi, whatever) the movie is buffering every 10 seconds. How do i solve this?
It could be an issue with transcoding - could you please upload your PMS logs and we can check? The app cannot Direct Play every MKV (specifically it doesn’t support DTS audio right now).
I notice that CPU on the NAS is almost 100% and that the transcoding consumes almost everything.

Do you have subtitles turned on? If so, that will always cause a transcode.
There’s a lot of errors in that log - I’ve asked our transcoder experts to take a look and see what we can do.
Could you please try and restart the NAS, try again, and then attach the whole log file so we can take a closer look. There’s some very curious messages in there.
Subtitles on/off doesn’t make any difference. I allready tested that, but doesn’t solve the problem. The issue remains.
I marked the question as answerd by mistake, the problem still exists. I will restart the NAS and upload a new log as requested asap.
I restarted the NAS, tried again. The log file is included.
