"
Thank you!
I seem to have the same error, can someone check my certificate? Using latest plex server version @BigWheel @ChuckPa
Hi There,
Facing the Cert renewal issue like other -
CERT: Error acquiring new certificate: Failed to upload CSR: 429, <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
Could I get it reset please?
Thank you kindly.
Thanks BigWheel. Its happened again though
Need another reset please?
Anyway to stop this happening every few weeks? Iâm using Nvidia shield as my server.
After migrating my server from QNAP to Docker I also receive the 429 error message. Please reset my certificate hit count. Thanks in advance!
Need another reset please. Got the same cert error
CERT: Error acquiring new certificate: Failed to upload CSR: 429, <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
Seems to not be working, same error as
CERT] TLS connection came in with unrecognized plex.direct SNI name âredacted.plex.directâ; using installed plex.direct cert
Is it possible to reset thank you
Hi, I created a new thread before I found this one. Same error here (429) after migrating data to new drives and plex server (same computer and router). I think I need my server certificate reset. Thanks
Still need a reset please @BigWheel @ChuckPa
Installed new hard drives and fresh Win 10 install, migrated cache, ended up with two servers, deleted the old one. Now getting constant 429 errors.
I named the new server âBlockbuster Videoâ
Thanks
@hysales
I have cleared the CSR limit flag and reset your certificate.
Restart the server.
Thank you so much, just checked and no more error message!
@BigWheel @ChuckPa
I have the same issue. Can you please reset my cert? I had a lot of errors in the last two weeks with my old server. I reinstalled PMS to restart from scratch, but canât reach the new server due to the error described above. My new server that I canât reach is called âSHIELD TVâ
@Rasmus321
I looked at your account.
You have one installation on the shield which you did about 5 hours ago (SHIELD TV).
You also have another from almost one day ago (SHIELD Android TV).
The certificate is valid for âShield TVâ.
Would you like me to remove the older server instance from Plex.tv?
Thank you for looking into it!
Hmm, thats weird. I still canât reach the server in the web app âapp.plex.tv is unable to connect to âSHIELD TVâ securelyâ.
Yes, the one called SHIELD Android TV is going to be removed. I just kept it to be able to copy over some of the settings. I removed the old one now, but the new one still doesnât work.
App.plex.tv isnât how you should setup any plex server.
Always perform the setup using the LAN IP of the server (you and it on the same subnet). This is done to protect your server and your media.
I would:
- Open an incognito browser window
- Open the new shield server by LAN IP:32400/web
- Sign it into your account (normal claiming)
- After itâs claimed and setup complete â Force-reload the browser
- (Force Reload makes it download server ID info from plex.tv)
- Once this is done, app.plex.tv will have the server
@ChuckPa Can you check certificate stuff for my account? For the last month, every few days I am getting the unable to connect securely to the server error. I have to reboot like 3 times for it to reconnect again. Today, I made the change to google dns on my router to see if this fixes things. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Im on beta.5998.
@TheBird
Certificate has been reset.
Please restart the server .
Beat on any devices which donât comply after restarting them too
