Migrated plex server from one machine to another and I deleted the cache folder, I now get this message, and hence I cannot access the server remotely and I cannot claim the server to add it to my account.

Might as well include the logs :slight_smile:

Nvm fixed seems like Plex was blocking my VPN’s ISP.

@ali20541

It was not your VPN being blocked.

Your server had hammed Plex.tv with too many requests over a short period.

On Plex.tv, I see where you’ve used 4 certificates today plus one last night.

You normally use one per 3 months.

The combination of excessive cert requests plus new server claiming causes Plex.tv to throttle the IP address.

If you look in your logs, you’ll see those returns.

When this type thing happens:

  1. Figure out why so many certificates are being requested (usually a permission problem where the container is writing to HDD/SSD)

  2. Be patient for a couple hours until Plex.tv is convinced it’ll behave again – after which it will allow the IP address again

Turning off your VPN changed your IP address. That’s why it worked.
