I have seen several posts on this and to date, no one has been able to answer the question. I would be eternally grateful if someone could point me in the right direction here.
Recently i have been experiencing an issue with my recordings. I set a show to record and randomly plex will decide not to record it. In this example, I am trying to record DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. I am 110% certain that the show airs tonight, a quick google search gets me the air date of each episode, but in “Recording Schedule” the episode for tonight (4-2-18) does not show up, only the episode for next week (4-9-18). The episode airing to night is a new episode and i have set the show to record all new episodes. Why is plex not able to see the airing for tonight? This is not the only show that this has happened for, though it does happen to this show often.
When i went to the watch now section on plex tonight, the show was playing but there was no show image and there was no option to record.
I have tried rebooting the server, removing and re-adding the tuner, and refreshing the EPG. Not sure what other steps i can take to get the epg to pick up every show every time. its getting pretty frustrating.
