So far I’ve seen it with two shows:
This is Us
Madam Secretary
The show will be airing, but Plex doesn’t see it in the EPG data. The show airs like normal, but nothing is recorded (of course).
I can’t tell if the show is named right in EPG either, because there’s no grid view or anything… is there a way to preview the EPG data somehow to see if it’s just a mismatch, or something else going on?
What are your recording settings for the shows? Specifically the Airings option but screenshots of the settings Basic and Advanced settings and possibly logs (Settings/Server/Help/Download Logs) would be the only way to try to determine why the shows did not record.
Don’t see the basic settings. You do know that you can drag/drop images into the post instead of having to upload to some other site and then add a link to the post?
Did you get this sorted? I’m trying to record the season finale of X-Files tonight and it’s not showing as airing. I see 911 which comes on just afterwards, but no X-Files. I tried deleting the recording and re-creating it with record ALL, and all I see are some rerun airings this Saturday - nothing tonight
I tried refreshing the program guide but that didn’t fix it. I’m running the latest Plex.
Edit: Downgrading to 1.10 and refreshing the EPG fixed it.
I run my plex server on linux and some shows work fine, others give me "no upcoming airings’ . Selecting individual episodes does not work… I have restarted, refreshed program guide, deleted everything from the recording schedule and readded. I installed plex on my windows machine and same issue. Some shows work and others say “no upcoming airings” and will not work.
Wow, I’ve just run into this problem after setting up HDHomeRun Premium TV. I’ll click a specific episode of a show in the guide, click “Record”, then it’ll show it as “No upcoming airings” in the upcoming column. The channel will play live though (once the “no parts” error goes away, of course)
No idea how to fix it. I have a DV instead of a DVR, basically.
