Plex Error "QNAP is currently unavailable"

Hi All, I am new to the forum and need some help. I run plex on my QNAP NAS which holds my collection of digital media. Recently when I try to access my library through my AppleTV which has the plex app, I get the “QNAP-NAS is currently unavailable” error. Also the plex app on my iPhone and iPad have the “Movie” button greyed out (This movie button is MY movies on the server). I trust something got screwed up during the last update and I am not sure what needs to change. Can anyone help?

Can you please

  1. Restart Plex
  2. Wait 2 minutes
  3. Attempt to access it via the appletv
  4. Download the logs ZIP file
  5. Attach that ZIP file here

Thank You for responding. In what place should I restart Alex? QNAP App interface? Where do I download the Zip file?

Plex not alex of course

  1. Stop Plex in App Center (where you installed it)
  2. Wait 2 minutes
  3. Start Plex
  4. Open http://ip.addr.of.qnap:32400/web in your browser
  5. Settings - Server - Troubleshooting - Download Logs
  6. It will give you a ZIP file
  7. Attach that ZIP file here.
