Plex Faiure On QNAP After After Upgrade

Server Version#: 1.28.2 QNAP

I run the media server off a QNAP TS-877

I upgraded to 1.28.2 Plex Pass today off the Plex website. Installation seemed to go normally. But logging in through phone or web interface at plex.tv the server wasn’t found after the upgrade.

Trying to connect via local ip returns this:

Response code=“503” title=“Maintenance” description=“PMS is currently running startup maintenance tasks.”

Waited. Still down. Rebooted the server. Still down. Rebooted the NAS. Still down.

Downgraded to 1.23.4. Still down and still with the same 503 error when connecting directly. Rebooted the app. Still down. Rebooted the NAS. Still down.

Any ideas on salvaging this without uninstalling?

If I have to uninstal anyone have a brief tutorial on tracking down the Plex Database on QNAP and how potentially to restore that after? (Assuming the DB isn’t the issue)

Please stop Plex.

If you’ve not created a PlexData share, please do so and start-stop Plex once more.

After that restart/stop, Use FileStation to manually go to PlexData/Plex Media Server

right-click Logs and make a tar.gz or zip of it.

Download and attach here so I can see.

I’ve had one other report of 503 on QNAP.

Once gets my attention
Twice is a concern. I need to see if there’s a firmware or other problem.

Make that three. I have the same problem though I first had the problem after installing 1.27.x and still have it after upgrading to 1.28.2.
I’m running on a TS-453 with the latest firmware on the QNAP. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no difference.

May I please see the log files so I can figure out what’s happening??

Telling me there is a ‘503’ doesn’t provide context enough for me to help fix it.
( A lot of things can cause I 503. The DEBUG logs show me what it was trying to do)

Appreciate it
I included the whole lot apologies
