Hey @Atomatth and all. Long time Plex Pass user here, considering moving from a now ancient Synology DS415play (server and media) to a used M1 Mac Mini (server) + Synology (media), but have been freaked out by this thread!
Was there any update on the following from last June by any chance?
The request for Direct SMB connection within Plex was filed awhile ago but is a heavy lift and not something we’ll be able to tackle for some time.
And to other users, are the workarounds generally working?
