yes. i know. but this is a mayor problem. it makes the audio part quite useless. at least for me 
i don’t see a reason a custom skill could not initiate playback to sonos if a player is given in the speech command. this would be quite the same as controlling a plex player for video on a tv.
It’s possible we’ll create our own custom integration in the future with Sonos but we have no current plans. But it wouldn’t interface with your Alexa settings at all. I wish it just worked too
That’s the problem with these Alexa skills. Amazon adds more and more capabilities, but still … you fall over biiig rocks every step you do. I am quite sure that’s the problem with the Spotify skill, too. You can not control another player, only play the stuff on your Echo. Sounds familiar. Anyways, it’s still a bit silly from time to time, but does something, even on english titles. Not bad I say ^^
Läuft im Wesentlichen sehr gut das Skill. Zumindest wenn man mit Wiedergabelisten arbeitet, spielt Alexa es recht zuverlässig ab. Getestet jetzt auf Echo und Echo Show. Auch die Wiedergabeliste von TIDAL übertragen läuft 
Könnte eigentlich freigegeben werden. Meine Meinung.

Just ask the German equivalent of ask plex to play modern family. The skill should intelligently detect you’re partway through an episode and confirm you’d like to resume.

Thank you for your help. Somehow alexa ignores the keyword plex and starts instead netflix and olays modern family from there…
Even i am in the plex app it will quit plex and start netflix.
I checked in the alexa chat history that alexa recognized my command correctly…
I will investigate later and try the same with other series as well.
I know there were some time ago a questionary where the community was asked to translate the english commands…

In my experiments i just went through the list of commands found in the link some posts above. Somehow I can’t use most of them, so i think i am using wrong commands…
Is there a list where i can lookup what the German equal for a given English command should be?

Hi, I’m urgently awaiting the skill as well. But my use case is not so much controlling what to play via voice as I expect it will be complicated for my kids to hit the right wording. More important would be the possibility to use alexas as streaming output controlled by a plex web player (similar to google cast). Is that possible with the skill or will I be only able to play to alexa by speech command?
Already told my Plex Player on my PC via the skill what to do and it happily did so. Just use the name of your player/device (in my case both is the same). Works this way: “Alexa, sage Plex: Spiele Overlord, Season 3 Folge 1 auf Reimi-PC” well… sometimes at least 
Multi language detection is a flaw of the whole Alexa skill environment. If you wanna play a movie/series with an english name… try Denglisch aka german way to speak a english word if it fails to open the right thing.
