Plex for android client app: tv guide auto-refresh is no longer refreshing after the update

for live tv dvr the new plex for android client update has broken the auto-refresh for the tv guide. it is no longer refreshing. i have to scroll pretty far to the right to find the currently playing show for each channel if i have been watching the channels for a long time. otherwise i have to force stop the app and re-open it to refresh the guide.
however what the update did was fix the streams that were getting killed after 10 minutes, so thats good.

please can the devs fix the auto refresh for the live tv dvr tv guide?

I can confirm this with the latest public release using XMLTV and many before it.
