I wouldn't normally release a bug fix release to Plex Pass only, but due to the amount of changes in this version, I wanted to phase the release. I'll be monitoring feedback via the forums, and if all looks good, i'll release via all marketplaces very soon.

New 'Experimental' Video Player
A number of video playback issues have been reported by users running Android 4.4.3 and higher. We are introducing a new 'experimental' video player as an option to allow users to workaround these problematic Android OS releases. A few things to note about the new player:
- This option needs to be enabled in the application's Settings, under Video. We've automatically enabled it for users running 4.4.3+
- This video player requires Plex Media Server v0.9.9.13. If you're running anything older, it will fallback to using the original player
- It also requires Android 4.2 JellyBean or newer, so users on older versions will not see the option to enable it
- The Android TV application will attempt to use this player whenever it's playing from a supported server
- Users that did not experience any playback problems will also benefit from it as it has faster load times

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Plex launched originally with a preview version of the technology behind Chromecast, the Google Cast SDK. The SDK has since been publicly released as a more stable and secure version, and is part of the Google Play Services. Android devices which don't have Google Play Services, will not be Cast Ready.
