Plex for AppleTV crashing when browsing recorded shows

Plex Player on AppleTV crashes when trying to browse recorded TV shows. Able to browse on other devices (iPhone, iPad, desktop, Vizio TV). Does not matter which show I try to browse.

Same here. Even deleted and reinstalled app. Doesn’t crash on all videos, but most.

I am also experiencing the same issue. This occurs when I open a show from the “Library” tab. When I open the show and use the remote to navigate to a specific episode, the app immediately crashes me and sends me to the main Apple TV screen. I am able to successfully launch an episode when I navigate from the “Recommended” tab. This is only occurring for me on my Apple TV, I am able to use other devices with no issues.

Same issue here. Seems to have been introduced with client version 7.12 for Apple TV. Trying to browse to individual seasons of TV shows causes a client crash. The 7.13 release did not fix the issue.

Turned on logging on the server just to see if any obvious error messages appeared in the logs, but the server logs stay clean. It appears to be something on the client side.

I’m not having issues with any other clients, just the Apple TV client. Hope someone at Plex reads this message and responds. So far, no acknowledgement from them on the issue.

I’ve had to install Emby just to watch my TV show library, which isn’t ideal.

This version seems to be quite broken to me. When a show is recording, I cannot watch any other recordings or even browse the guide. I get the spinning wheel. Things work perfectly fine on all of my other Plex clients. I hope they fix this soon.
