Plex-for-kodi plugin issue

Hi,
how exactly/ from which location is downloaded plex-for-kodi plugin? I have two kodi boxes… box A has >
./.kodi/addons/packages/script.plex-0.2.1.zip

box B has
./.kodi/addons/packages/script.plex-0.2.0.zip

How can I update plex-for-kodi on B to 0.2.1?

On the site https://kodi.tv/addon/scripts-video-add-ons/plex … there is old version 0.1.8

the plugin on box B doesnt work properly …
wc -l .kodi/userdata/addon_data/script.plex/settings.xml
0 .kodi/userdata/addon_data/script.plex/settings.xml

where on box where all works smoothly its

osmc@osxxx:~$ wc -l .kodi/userdata/addon_data/script.plex/settings.xml
20 .kodi/userdata/addon_data/script.plex/settings.xml

what is the correct way to install/remove/reinstall that plugin?
