Plex for LG app does not autoplay the correct episode on multipart files

Throwing out another request to fix this issue. As another user put it “When playing episodes from a show that contains multiple parts (S01E01-E03) the client will see that those episodes have been watched by the end of the stream, however autoplay will attempt to play Episode 2 instead of episode 4. Resulting in the client playing the same file again from the start. Autoplay works as expected in other clients like web and mobile, but not on my TV client.”

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’ve looked around and there seems to be no other way other than this forum to report bugs. Finding issues like this that get opened and then closed for months or years seems less than ideal.

Yeah it’s been a known issue forever but the Plex team doesn’t put a lot of focus on the TV clients. Given the most recent update to mobile is supposed to be put on other platforms (desktop/web/tv/console) It hopefully gets fixed then. But there’s no telling how long that might take. Given the new update on mobile took about a year to roll out from beta.
