Plex for Mac crashes when coming back to computer after 20 minutes

Plex for Mac running on 2015 MBP, well-spec’d. If I go away from my computer long enough that the screen saver kicks-in (which triggers lock screen), Plex is crashed about 80% of the time when I return and unlock. Wondering if anybody else has seen this and found the cause? Did not happen with the previous version of Plex media player.
