Is it wrong if end users decide to get impatient and circumvent the system to download the app now from the other countries PS Store?
Actually I just found this post directly on Sony's Website.. So I guess I answered my own question, you can, but Sony won't guarantee that it will work.

So I got it to work.. I have some family that lives in Italy, so I set up a new account using their address. The system ensures that's its a valid address, I'm guessing by postal/zip code. After I registered, I switched the login on my PS3 to that account and when I checked the Available Apps under the TV Services, it was there..
I clicked it, installed it, and voila. You are able to switch back to your regular account afterwards and the app is still there.

I know its wrong but it is nice for us Europeans to get something first for a change and watch the USA scrabble around for a way to get it.....so so often the other way around.
Now if only we could get those lists of countries arranged alphabetically.....where does U come again :-)

It's really not that hard to get it in NA. I just created a new account and set up my mailing address in the UK(some random address generator will do the trick), and left CC/billing address blank. Then u just sign into ur PS4 with new account and download it. After it's installed on PS4 you can switch back to normal NA account. :)

Yes you should get the updates if one has been issued. After you launch the app it should check and ask you to download the update. Has one been issued already?
Don't know, just don't feel like having the trouble of switching profiles everything there is an update just to get the app a few weeks earlier... I've always had a EU account and a JP/HK account on my Sony systems. Sometimes those stores get different demos etc, so it's good to have them. I downloaded Plex from my EU account and watch via my main account (North America), simple.
I was able to download plex from my EU account, however I need to be signed into it in order to run it. When I try to do it from my NA account I get a message that it’s not available and o have to download it in the store. Which obviously doesn’t work. Not a big deal but annoying.
You need to make sure the EU account has that PS4 set as the primary PS4 so that other users can use apps and games from that account. Don’t worry, you can have multiple primary accounts on a single PS4.
I am in the USA and almost caught a heart attack when i found out we weren't on the list. I guess there is a first for everything lol

Your EU account needs to have the PS4 you're going to be watching Plex on as its primary PS4.
I'm not bothering with a foreign account. I will wait, but I was just curious if plex could provide an updated estimated timeline on the NA release?
Agreed. Since it's already been announced, I wonder if anyone from Plex can just tell us when it's about to drop, or do we have to wait until it appears one day.
