Plex for PS4 will not login

Hi Everyone

I’ve got the strangest issue with Plex on my PS4. I cannot for the life of me log in.

I get to the sign in screen, and then link my account with the pin. I then get the Message
“You’re all set. Thank you for using Plex!”

And then nothing, it will not progress from there, It stays on the screen with 4 dots, and then eventually cuts to plex rebooting and I get the message saying
“Plex Cannot Start Due to an error.
you can press Reset Plex to restore default setting and restart Plex. You can drop by our community forums and https://forums.plex.tv/ and tell us in person.”

I press reset Plex, and the same loop happens I get taken back tot he login screen I log in and Groundhog Day begins. It doesn’t look like a problem across the board with all plex users on there PS4, What am i doing wrong?

I appear to have fixed this by disabling the secure login, in the server settings.

I have the same problem could you tell me what you did to fix this problem kind Regards Andrew

From memory, I was sharing my library with two people and had two different librarys in my house. I shut them all down one by one and tried logging in without any library’s on and it seemed to be fine.

To test it, it’s worth creating a net test account with plex, and log in as someone else.

That worked for me anyway
