plex for regular android: live tv dvr, TV guide is not auto-refreshing and is not remembering the current channel

when the epg progresses, the tv guide does not refresh to display the time slot progress line in the proper spot. i have to scroll very far to the right to get to the present programming if i have left the screen on the tv guide for too long.

the other thing is when i back out of a channel, plex for android client is not remembering the current channel, so what happens is the tv guide automatically scrolls to the top of the page onto the first channel. this happens every single time i back out of a movie or show to look at the tv guide for the live tv dvr. i would like to be able to view the guide starting with the current channel. and i would like to be able to close plex and open it and have it remember the last channel i was previously watching in the tv guide.

Hi @eeeeeesy thanks for reporting.
The guide timeline not refreshing is a known issue and we are working on a fix.

The second issue you are reporting, is fixed on the latest beta that you can find here: Release Announcements - Android TV beta - #500 by marekszulik

the second one that you say is fixed in the beta looks like its only for android tv. i do not have android tv OS, im on regular pure android.

oh nevermind, youre right it does work for regular android. thanks. i will now wait for the guide auto refresh fix…
