I use the Plex for Samsung 3.3.4 on Tizen 2.4.0. ( Samsung KS700 series )
the Plex server works on a QNAP TS251+ ( 8GB RAM )
My tv is able to native reproduce ( internal player ) all kind of Subtitle ( VOB, SRT etc ) but when i try to reproduce an MKV (264) with VOB subtitle it starts to transcode (CPU 100%) and the simply operation of file navigation begun to slow down ( buffer or something like it ).
If i try to reproduce an MKV x265 with VOB or SRT subtitles the system fail and can’t complete the operation.
The request/answer: is it possible to improve the VOB and SRT Direct Play / passthrough like the DTS audio tracks?
I thing that in 2019 all the Tizen Smart tv can reproduce it natively.
