Trying to watch Borat tonight and the subs are constantly buffering the video.
I set it to Burn only image formats and it still wants to transcode… Its killing my Synology Nas poor Lil thing 
Any solutions for directplaying VOB subs on tizen?
VOBSUBS are an image format, as are PGS.
I do not have a Tizen TV and do not know if they will direct play VOBSUB subtitles. However, if you tell Plex to burn image based subtitles and then enable an image based subtitle, the video will transcode because you told it to do so.
If possible, choose an audio stream that will not transcode. This will reduce the load on your CPU. Also, if the audio is transcoding and you enable any type of subtitles, the video will also transcode. AAC & AC3 should direct play. dts direct plays on 2018 & earlier models.
You can try using the OpenSubtitles.org agent (free account required).
Go to PMS Settings → Agents → Plex Movie → OpenSubtitles.org. Click the gear to enter account info & choose languages. Click checkbox to enable. Refresh the metadata for the movie and/or library & wait a few minutes. You should then see an option to use SRT subs from OpenSubtitles.org on the movie pre-play screen or during playback.
